  • Should homeschooling be illegal? Why or why not?

Illegal? Why in the world would it be illegal? I mean have you not seen or heard the violence that goes on in 'legal schools' I might as well rephrase the question and ask Should staying home and teaching your kids be illegal? I mean with at least one parent being present while the kids' learning encourages the child to ask more...I mean have you ever been afraid to ask your mom or dad, why the sky is blue, or where does the rainbow come from or where I came from. (One day mommy and daddy were........and the stork left you at the door). And Maybe it more environmentally friendly to have classes at home...not having to ride on the yellow pollutant on wheels. Class could begin when the child is ready for input and not while he is still half sleeping.

So nay to making homeschooling illegal!

  • Children and the bible

Hmmm, today I brought a priest to see an uncle who's been warded for cancer. Its not known whether its lung, throat or malignant or benign yet. But I guess it's got something to do with the fact that he's been smoking for the last 50yrs or so?.

I asked the priest whether it was a good idea to introduce young children to the christian spirituality. I've seen some other evangelists and pastors children turn out terribly. To me it seemed that they got used to and later bored of, the Holy Spirit...being exposed at an early age but without a mature mind....they seemed to have regarded it as a passing phase that you're suppose to experience and move on. Other pastures then would be able to rekindle emotions once felt from the Holy Spirit.

The priest agreed with me adding that it was not bad to expose young children to spirituality as long as a balance exists, to ensure a well formed understanding of the Holy Spirit is attained, in other words, let kids be kids and stay away from forcing biblical text and/or rituals down their LITTLE throats. Doing so is almost a guarantee that they will hate anything related to spirituality. Remember there are other things in the world God created that our kids might find interesting other than your or my beliefs. How can anyone give praises to God for the wondrous creation of His hands if he/she is constantly focussing on text labelled with tiny numbers, and have never experienced His wondrous creations?

My guideline then is Too much of anything is a Bad thing...so whats yours?

  • If you had a magic key, what would it open?

If you had magic beans you'd grow a giant beanstalk where at the top is a giants castle ready for the looting, so if i had a magic key it means that there must be a giant key hole somewhere which, upon unlocking is actually a hill where the hobbits live, and this little ring which makes me all powerful, so powerful that megatron returns to his home planet while sam gets the girl I get the cool car.....driving off into the sunset.
